Early Childhood support coordinators

Early childhood support coordination is for families of children under 9 who have recently entered the NDIS through the Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) pathway or have a plan that includes support coordination.

These coordinators specialise in child development, therapy, school and kindergarten supports, and work closely with families to build capacity for the whole household.

Frequently asked questions

Does my child need support coordination in their NDIS plan?
Not all children's plans include support coordination — it depends on the complexity of their support needs. Children with complex or multi-faceted needs are more likely to have SC funded. Your LAC or early childhood partner can advise.
What is Specialist Support Coordination (Level 3) for children?
Specialist Support Coordination is a higher level of SC for participants with complex needs and significant risks. It is funded separately from regular support coordination and delivered by practitioners with specialist qualifications.
