What we collect
CompareSupports is a static directory. We do not require sign-up, do not store user accounts, and do not set tracking cookies.
We may collect:
- Contact form submissions — if you contact us via the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. These are stored securely via Netlify Forms and used only to respond to your enquiry.
- Analytics — we may use privacy-preserving analytics (such as aggregated page view counts) to understand how the site is used. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
- Server logs — our hosting provider may retain standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and performance purposes. These are not used for tracking or marketing.
Provider data
Provider information displayed on CompareSupports is sourced from public registers and APIs (NDIS Provider Register, ABR, Google Places, provider websites). We treat this as public business information. If you are a provider and believe information about your business is incorrect or should be updated, please contact us.
Cookies
CompareSupports does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. Your filter selections and quiz answers are stored only in memory for the duration of your session — they are not persisted to storage.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may collect standard request data per their privacy policy.
- Netlify — the site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may collect standard server logs per their privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and complain about how we handle your personal information.
